Empowering neighborhoods since 1986!

CAN IS A 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer umbrella organization serving more than 30 Asheville neighborhood organizations.

When a neighborhood is threatened by irresponsible development, we're available as an Important resource and support for the neighborhood advocates.

We monitor and analyze local governmental policy and provide a much-needed voice for neighborhood interest. We also organize and host periodic one-day conferences designed to strengthen neighborhood bonds and provide training for neighborhood advocates.
